2024 Photo Workshops

Good news! I am delighted to announce the photo workshops that are planned for 2024. Three workshops have been finalized and are open for registration. All will be led by my good friend Reed Hoffmann. The proposed workshops will extend the tradition of excellence that Highlight Photo Tours has established since its first workshop in 2018.

From April 27th to May 8th, we will explore some of the jewels of Croatia and Slovenia, with a grand finale in Venice. The workshop will take us to Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, the Plitvice Lakes National Park and Rovijn in Croatia. We will then head to Slovenia, where we will visit Ljubjana and Lake Bled. We will spend the final few days in Venice.

Highlights of the workshop include:

• An introduction to the history of the region, through guided tours.

• A view of some of the region’s historical jewels

• Unbelievable vistas

• Beautiful sunrise and sunset opportunities

The second workshop will be in Vancouver and Vancouver Island, from September 14th to September 22nd. We will spend time in Vancouver, then make our way to Victoria and finally to Ucluelet, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Highlights of the workshop include:

• Unique combination of European, First Nation and Chinese heritage

• Unbelievable seascapes and cityscapes

• Beautiful sunrise and sunset opportunities

Unfortunately, the workshop planned to the Canadian Rockies has been cancelled, as I am scheduled for surgery in June. It will be rescheduled in 2025 or later,

The photo workshops are all available to all levels of photographers, from the novice wanting to learn the basics to the advanced amateur that wishes to tweak skills. All locations proposed have been scouted, which enables us to optimize the program to get the best photo opportunities.
