Last 2 seats for Nova Scotia workshop on sale

The Nova Scotia workshop with Reed Hoffmann is only 3 months away. There are only 2 seats left for the trek (please note the optional pre-trek is no longer available). I would like to finalize arrangements for the trek soon, so I am offering those 2 seats at a steep discount.

The first 2 persons to fully pay for the seats will get them. Prices are reduced by US$500 (CAD$670). The sale closes on May 26 at 23:59 Eastern at the latest.

We will be based in Halifax for this trek, from August 20th to August 25th. Nova Scotia is almost entirely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Its history is thus marked by the sea. Some of the unique characteristics of this province of Canada are:

  • The Bay of Fundy’s unique landscape is shaped by the highest recorded tides in the world (about 50 feet!) and its waters are home to 15 species of whales. It’s like nowhere else on earth.

  • The South Shore of Nova Scotia faces the Atlantic. Navigate the sea-sculpted coast of the South Shore past weathered fishing villages, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Town Lunenburg, beaches & bays, and 40+ lighthouses - including the famous beacon at Peggy’s Cove which we will visit. We will discover fishing villages like you have never seen.

  • The Cajuns of Louisiana came from Nova Scotia. We will find out more about the history of French settlements in Nova Scotia and about the deportation of the Acadians to Louisiana.

  • The British presence grew in the 17th and 18th centuries, and Nova Scotia was at a critical juncture to protect shipping lanes. We will discover more about the history of British presence in North America.

Details of the trek can be found at
