Returning to Newfoundland

Following the successful trip to Newfoundland in 2025, I am heading back with Reed for another wonderful discovery tour of Canada's 10th province from June 8 to June 17, 2027. Newfoundland has more than 29,000 kilometres of coastline, where it's not hard to spot plenty of whales, seabirds, and icebergs. There are 22 species of whales alone, including the world's largest migrating population of humpbacks. Flying high above are, give or take, 35 million seabirds, which is why Newfoundland and Labrador is aptly named the seabird capital of North America. And if iceberg watching is something on your list, Iceberg Alley is the best place on the continent to see these 10,000-year-old frosty giants.

Scotland

Reed and I are planning a trip to Scotland in 2027. The details will be finalized once I have completed a scouting trip; I am aiming for a finalized itinerary by mid October. We are aiming for a 2-week trip starting at the end of August. The trip will start and end in Edinburgh. The itinerary will include St Andrews, Dunnottar Castle, Aviemore, the Lewis and Harris islands of the Outer Hebrides, the Isle of Skye, Eileen Donan castle, the Glenfinnan viaduct, Glencoe, and return to Edinburgh. We aim to discover the essence of Scotland, its history, its unique ecology.
